The Governing Body will be the highest Project related decision-making body and fully
empowered to achieve inter-departmental coordination and to ensure non-duplication
of management interventions. |
The Governing Body will be headed by the Chief Secretary of the Government of Assam

The Governing Body will meet every 6 months, at least during the first two years. Each
meeting will lead to a statement of the progress of the project based on technical and
financial reports. Overall guidance on the project will be formulated by the Governing
Body after each meeting.
